Pane

Since I've been working with abstract images lately and the large canvas I am working on is not ready to photograph yet, I thought I'd re-post some old pieces I did last year. This one is titled Pane because I was given this really neat old window and I decided to turn it into a painting. The medium is acrylic paint with the upper left pane and the lower middle pane being partially unpainted. The funny looking thing that looks like a tail is the remnant of the rope that was use to raise and lower the window. I primed it and left it as part of the piece.
