It has been a long time since I have posted to this blog and quite frankly I haven't made any art work in the interim. I do not wish to lose the friends who have left such nice comments over the years and I am sure the creative urges will present themselves again in the future. There has been a family illness that has occupied my life over this spring and early summer and I have also spent a lot of time doing exercise when I have free time. Several people at my local bar have been querying me as to why I have not done any sketches in such a long time and I have no answer except to say things seem to be in transition in my mind. I am still a regular gallery visitor and stay abreast of the art that goes on around Washington D.C. In any event, I am still alive and doing well.
