Sometimes I drive around and drive around looking for a subject to paint. Often the problem is not finding a convenient place to pull off the road. I don't like to attract attention....this leads me to paint the same subjects....but actually, a subject is never really exhausted. There is a different perspective, or a different season, or time of day. This is Seneca school for the fourth time this year.

This is so lovely! My blood pressure is going down 10 points as I gaze at it I feel. I'm lovin' those ladies you've sketched also. Very challenging to do and you did them masterfully!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sheila. I find the portraits difficult to do but I like trying. I also find the landscapes difficult too but you have more latitude with them and they become more abstract compositions after awhile. I really enjoy painting outside. I even do some of the portraits while sitting by the canal under the trees.
